Six sherds of samian ware pottery of early Roman date. Three are body sherds and three are rim sherds. Two of the rim sherds have external beads and one is plain. All the sherds are oxidised throughout with shiny brownish-orange slips. The fabric contains moderate very small limestone pieces and occasional voids, so the vessels were probably produced at one of the South Gaulish kilns.

Nine sherds of South-East Dorset Black-Burnished Ware I pottery of Roman date. Five are rim sherds, three are body sherds and one is a base sherd. The largest rim sherd is from a flanged bowl, three others are plain and everted and probably come from jars and the other is flat and appears to have come from a lid with a groove parallel to the rim. All of the sherds are reduced, although one has slightly more oxidised surfaces. Two or possibly three of the sherds have a black slip. The fabric contains abundant small rounded quartz sand and sparse larger pieces of quartz and calcareous fr…

An incomplete cast copper alloy strap fitting of probable late fifteenth to sixteenth century date. The fitting measures 28.8mm by 13.7mm by 2.3mm and weighs 3.9g. It consists of a sub-rectangular plate with a shallow pointed identation at the wider end.
