An early-medieval silver penny of Cnut (1016-1035), Short cross type (North 790) dating to c. AD 1030-1036, uncertain mint and moneyer. Ref: North 1994: 168. The coin is very worn with little detail visible beyond the general type design and small portions of the obverse and reverse inscriptions.
