An incomplete Roman copper-alloy nummus of Valens dating to AD 364 - 367 (Reece period 19). GLORIA ROMANORVM reverse type depicting the emperor with a labarum in his left hand, holding a captive in his right hand and dragging him to the right. Unclear mintmark, possibly Trier or Nicomedia (SM??). About 40% of the circumference is chipped or eroded. RIC IX p.14 Trier 5(c) or p.252 Nicomedia 9(b).
