An incomplete flint end scraper of probable Neolithic to early Bronze Age date. The scraper has been made from a tertiary flake. At the proximal end are the striking platform and bulb of percussion. Ripples radiate down the ventral surface and there are a number of flaking scars on the dorsal surface. The distal end has been retouched, although part of this has broken off. A flint side scraper of probable later Neolithic to early Bronze Age date. The scraper has been made from a primary flake and a large area of cortex remains on the dorsal surface. At the proximal end on the ventral surface is a diffuse bulb of percussion. The striking platform has been removed by retouch. Ripples radiate down the ventral surface and there is a hinge fracture at the distal end. One side of the scraper has been abruptly retouched to form a steep edge. The dark brownish-grey flint has a mid-gloss patina. Dimensions: 35.6mm by 29.2mm by 16.5mm Total weight: 15.9g

To the left is a long flaking scar, with two smaller ones at the promimal end. The left edge of the dorsal face has short semi-abrupt retouch. The ventral face is slightly convex. The flint is dark brown-grey with a light-grey patch on the ventral face at the bulb of purcussion. The object is probably of Neolithic to Bronze Age date.
