Post Medieval copper alloy jetton, probably an anonymous issue made in Nuremberg, 'Lion of Saint Mark' type, c. 1540 - c. 1570 AD; cf. Mitchiner (1998:359, 362-364) ref. 1113-1120. The jetton has lost part of the flan (c.5%) to one side. The loss is an incurved line, a feature seen on many jettons and probably original from cutting the circular flan in a way that overlapped a previous removal from the sheet. It is 27.6mm in diameter, 0.8mm thick and weighs 3.42 grams.

A corroded 16th-century copper-alloy post-medieval jetton, anonymous issue, 'ship-penny' type, struck at Nuremberg, c. AD 1553-1559 (cf. Mitchiner 1180/1181). Mitchiner (1988, 374-375) describes these jettons as being of the 'degenerate cross in arcuate yard arm group'. He therefore dates them to the 1550s as they appear closely related to the ship-penny jettons of Jorg Schultes and Hans Schultes I.

It measures 27.72 mm in diameter, 0.66 mm in thickness, and weighs 1.57 g The jetton has been pierced through the reverse at about 7 o'clock, corresponding to about at 9 o'clock on the obverse, possibly for reuse as an item of jewellery. It has been bent slightly.

The jetton measures 21.3 mm in diameter, is 0.1 mm thick, and weighs 0.71 g. It is bent with abrasions at its circumference at one point. It has been perforated towards the circumference, with two holes close to each other, possibly sewing holes for attachment following conversion of the jetton into an item of jewellery.

A Post-medieval copper alloy Nuremberg jetton issued by Hans Krauwinckel II (AD 1586-1635). Rose / Orb, GOTES REICH BLIBT EWICK, type, depicting a rose surrounded by three fleur-de-lis alternating with three crowns on the obverse and the imperial orb within a three arched tressure on the reverse. A Post-Medieval heavily corroded copper-alloy Nuremburg jetton, probably of early type such as Lion of St Mark. The inscription on the obverse and reverse design are too corroded to make out however the smaller lettering suggests an early date possible before AD 1590.
