French Medieval copper alloy jetton issued at Tournai, shield of France Moderne / triple stranded cross flueretty design. A similar design with pellets flanking the shield is recorded by Algar and Mernick (2001:223), no.127 dated to the third quarter of the 15th century. Mitchiner (1988:220) illustrates a similar reverse, no.642. The jetton has a tear through it to one side of the centre and was probably originally bent.
