An incomplete cast copper alloy T-shape brooch of early Roman date. The surviving portion measures 43.9mm in length by 23.9mm across the wings and weighs 13.1g. The cylindrical wings conceal the axis bar for the hinged pin, most of which is missing. The bow narrows then expands out again into an wider section. The foot is plain and rounded and conceals the incomplete catchplate.

An incomplete cast copper alloy T-shape brooch of Roman date. The surviving part of the brooch measures 35.2mm by 16mm by 9.1mm and weighs 9.1g. The cylindrical wings would have held the axis bar for a hinged pin, most of which is missing. Both ends of the wings are decorated with a pair of circumferential incised line. A Roman ceramic vessel sherd dating to the period c. AD 260 - 410. The sherd is a base sherd, probably from a beaker. The fabric is grey brown and has been sandwich fired with bands of reduced grey and oxidised red running through the sherd visible at an old break. The fabric has abundant sand temper, with occasional mica incusions. The form and fabric suggest that the sherd may be a New Forest greyware, however, Fulford (1975, p. 85) notes the difficulty of distinguishing New Forest greyware from those of other kilns.

One part of a two link late Iron Age to early Roman bridle bit of Polden Hill type, c.AD 1-100. This piece is won and broken at both ends. There are extensive remains of a thick black coating on all parts of the bit but concentrated on the central section. This may be the remains of soot deposit from burning. At one end is an oval loop, now broken and worn so the outer edge is narrowed to a point and one side is completely missing with a second, very worn break at the base.
