A cast copper alloy and silver strap-end of early-medieval date. The zoomorphic strap-end measures 39.6mm by 9.5mm by 4.5mm and weighs 8.7g. The narrow end of the slightly tapering strap-end is zoomorphic, moulded to represent a beast's head with backwards pointing ears, seen from above. On the front there is a tapering rectangular silver niello appliqué featuring a vine scroll. The split (wider) end has broken off adjacent to a silver rivet. This strap-end fits most closely into Thomas' Class B and probably dates from the 9th century AD.

Copper alloy figure of eight, probably a chain link, possibly Early Medieval. The piece is complete with two loops with rounded outer sides narrowing to points where they meet and cross in the centre. Each loop is circular in cross section. There appear to be slight unfettled casting flashes on the inner side of each loop at the point, suggesting they were cast. On one face the crossing point of the loops is flat while on the other one line of the crossover is slightly raised over the other. The loops are not noticeably worn. The entire piece is 18.2mm long, 7.4mm wide and 2.2mm thick…
