A complete copper alloy post-medieval dress fastener, c. 16th century AD (1500 - 1650 AD) . The fastener is the 'female' tag from pair of hooked tags; it has a sub-oval plate with a large rectangular loop at one end. Either side of the plate are two rounded attachment knops, with a third debased trefoil attachment knop at the base of the clasp. The eye section of the clasp is convex, with moulded relief, consisting of a hollow-dome bearing a wreathed irish harp. Measurements: Length: 42.89mm Width: 34.24mm Thickness: 3.65mm Weight: 10.96g. An incomplete Post Medieval lead powder measure nozzle dating c. AD 1600-1700. The nozzle is conical with a circular-sectioned that tapers. The end that would have extended through to the measure has been stoppered with parts of the measure. The patina is light grey. Similar to BH-FCFA6B.
