An incomplete copper alloy Post-Medieval Jetton, probably issued by Hans Shultes III in Nuremberg, dating to 1608-1612. A "Rose/Orb" jetton, depicting three crowns alternating with three lis on the obverse and the imperial orb within a tressure of three arches on the reverse. In addition, there appear to have been three pairs of pellets outside of the tressure on the reverse, although only one pair has surivived. Mitchiner (1988: 411-413) publishes a number of very similar, but no identical, jettons issued by Hans Shultes III, and with YORYM-4D3332 on this database being identified as…

An broken fragment of a Post Medieval copper alloy jetton issued by Hans Schultes III, dating to the period c.1608-12. Minted in Nuremberg. Rose / Orb Type. MItchener (1988: 412) no 1409. The jetton appears to have broken along a fold with c.35% remaining.

A post-medieval Nuremberg copper-alloy jetton of Hans Schultes III (fl. 1608-1612) dating to the period AD 1608-1612, of the 'Rose / orb' type, reverse legend: GLICK KUMPT VON GOT IST WAR (translated as: Happiness comes from God, is true). Mitchiner, (1998:411), no.1405. There is a small semi-circular clip from one side.
