A Post-Medieval copper alloy pocket sundial, probably dating to c. AD 1600-1800. The dial survives as a fragment, and comprises of a flat rectangular band of copper alloy, with a central recessed band on the outside face, containing an incised perforation which extends halfway along the fragment. This is flanked by a series of short, shallow perpendicular incised lines and the incuse stamped letters on the upper band: I A S and on the lower band: I. The dial survives almost complete, and comprises of a flat rectangular band of copper alloy, with a central recessed band on the outside face, containing an incised perforation which extends around approximately 33% of the circumference. Fragment of a Post Medieval or Modern cast copper alloy sundial. The fragment consists of a segment of the dial which has an incised design on the front. The design has an outer ring containing the Roman numerals for the hours, [...XI]II and IX survive. The outer line of the ring is plain, the inner is divided into small square segments, 15 of which survive. There are two markers on the outer side of this row of squares, 8 squares apart, between the numbers. The markers are a straight line ending in a trefoil.

Post Medieval complete cast copper-alloy 'pocket' sundial of 17th or 18th century date. The sundial is of the simple ring type. It consists of a broad, flat, copper alloy ring with a channel cut in the centre of the outer side along its circumference which is filled with a separate sliding collar; the ring is suspended by a short twist of wire.

An incomplete cast copper alloy pocket sundial of probable seventeenth century date. The sundial has a diameter of 54.6mm, it is 10.7mm wide and 2.1mm thick. It weighs 21.7g. The rotating inner slide is missing and the main loop has broken at the point where two holes have been drilled. Around the outside surface there is a central groove, 2.3mm wide. In two areas this groove has been cut away entirely and the sliding section would have sat within one of these slots. A well-preserved cast copper alloy pocket sundial, probably dating from the seventeenth century. Much of the rotating inner slide is present, but the supension loop is broken. The sundial is 38.9mm in diameter, 11.2mm wide and 2.2mm thick. It weighs 18.7g. Around the outside surface there is a central groove, 1.5mm wide.
