An incomplete Post Medieval lead powder measure nozzle dating c. AD 1600-1700. The nozzle is conical with a circular-sectioned that tapers. The end that would have extended through to the measure has been stoppered with parts of the measure. The patina is light grey. Similar to BH-FCFA6B. Measurements: Length: 20.83mm, Diameter (at opening): 15.08mm, Diameter (at base): 22.3mm, Thickness of lip: 2.76mm, Weight 33.19g.

An incomplete lead post-medieval powder measure cap, c. 17th century AD.  The open end of the measure has been squashed inwards so that only the base retains its original sub-circular shape in plan. On one side a small loop survives, and the remains of the attachment are evident on the other side, though the loop is missing. There are two vertical lines cast into the measure, running from the open end to the base on opposite sides (and in between the loops).  Height: 14.98mm, diameter at base: 18.26mm, weight: 16.24g. Cf. A cast lead-alloy cap from a post-medieval powder measure dating to the 17th or 18th century. It has straight sides that widen slightly towards the open base where there is a raised mouth moulding. The slightly oval top has a central raised pellet with surrounded by a slightly recessed circle. Where the sides meet the top there are two integral attachment loops, one on each side, bent down slightly to meet the sides. There is a hole at the side where the other attachment loop is missing. There is an old tear to one side at the base. The solid circular top is also slightly squashed and distorted. An incomplete Post-Medieval lead alloy powder measure cap dating to c.AD 1600-1700. The measure would have been cylindrical when complete and undamaged with one end left open and the other closed. However, it has been squashed almost completely flat. The closed end is now a long stretched oval while the open end is squashed flat. This end is cracked and distorted. There are two surviving attachment loops at opposite ends of the cap on the long axis. It is creamy-grey in colour. The cap measures 17.15mm high, is 15.8mm wide, 26.1mm long and the material is 2.45mm thick. It weighs 19.5g. Such powder caps are common finds on most civil war sites (Courtney 1988: 2), and the find probably dates to the 17th century.

There are two worn projections adjacent to each other on the fold of the base, and one remaining projection on the oposite side. These would have formed the attachment loops, allowing it to be stitched to a bandolier. It is cream in colour, and is quite worn.
