Post Medieval copper alloy 'rose/orb' jetton probably of Hans Krauwinckel II, issued at Nuremberg, c. AD 1586-1635. VERBVM DOMINI MANET IN ETER reverse legend. Mitchiner (1988, 438) no. 1512, reverse has same die flaw at 12 o'clock. The jetton was previously folded in half and has broken along this fold. The reverse, which was on the inside of the fold, is much better preserved.

A highly worn Medieval copper alloy early Nuremberg Jetton, probably dating to c. AD 1440-1493. Probably a Nuremberg-Mainz-Bavaria type, but not directly paralleled in Mitchiner (1989). The obverse depicts a square topped shield quarterly, the reverse depicts a square topped shield divided in two, the top charged with the lozengy shield of Bavaria, the lower unclear. cf. Mitchiner (1989:335-337) nos. 989-999 for similar issues.
