Incomplete lead alloy object of uncertain date, c.AD 43-1800. The remaining piece is mainly formed of a rectangular cross sectioned bar with rounded ends and a projection to one side near one end. The front is decorated with five evenly spaced deeply stamped annulets. The projection to one side starts a similar, although slightly thicker rectangular cross sectioned bar before ending in a squared off ends with a much thinner piece continuing backwards and curled under. It is hexagonal in plan and trapezoidal in cross section with a slightly narrower upper surface compared to its lower surface which has rounded corners. The centre of the object is pierced by a small circular hole that is narrower on the upper surface (c. 2.1mm diameter) than the lower surface also (5.3mm diameter) and is surrounded by a raised border. A cast lead spindle whorl of an unknown date. The whorl is circular in shape and the top and bottom surfaces are flattened. The outer side is convex and the inner face is mostly flat. Through the centre is a circular hole measuring 7.0mm in diameter. There are a few raised straight lines cast on the top and outer side of the whorl, these suggest a zigzag pattern but there are too few and too ill-defined, particularly with the later damage, for this to be definite. A cast copper alloy unidentified object, possibly a casting waste. The object consists of a central circular body and two lateral bar. It has a convex front and a flat back. The central body has a high dome with a flat tip. It measures 13.3 mm in diameter. Two bar project out from the base of the dome on opposite sides. It measures 84.9 mm in length, 69.1 mm in width, 38.2 mm in thickness and weighs 1208 g. The object is probably a piece ready for processing and may suggest lead processing activity of unknown date on the site of the discovery. It was found in association with a large group of lead and copper alloy material of different ages, from the Roman up to Modern Age.

The piece has a sub-rectangular shape for 65 mm in length and gradually widen from 13.5 mm on the base to 20.5 mm near the top. Twelve of them have the characteristic H-shaped section with two irregularly shaped outer sides, one larger than other, joined by a smaller central section. Three of them consists of only one side with a central plug projecting from the rear. A lead alloy token of uncertain date. The token is uniface and sub-rectangular, with a saltire or 'X' incised into the centre of one face. The reverse is plain. The object measures 25.98mm in length, 19.94mm in width, 3.71mm in thickness and weighs 13.55g. Although difficult to date outside of a secure archaeological context, the token was found in an area with a large number of Roman period finds.

It is roughly oval in plan and is comprised of a layer of lead covered by a fragment of glass, which in turn is covered by another layer of lead that is uneven and exposing the glass in places. The layers are slightly offset into a little squashed sandwich. The lead sections are oxidised giving a white patina, while the glass of the original vessel is a light grey-green colour. An incomplete, cast lead alloy spindle whorl. The spindle whorl is flattened biconical with a broad central ridge around the centre. The hole through the object is large (11.6mm diameter) and off-centre. The spindle whorl has a small break on one edge due to the metal corroding and laminating. The diameter of the spindle whorl is 26.6, and it is 14.3mm thick and weighs 31.02g. Plain spindle whorls and weights were cast locally in lead from the Roman period onwards and are hard to date precisely although most are late Medieval - Post Medieval.
