Post Medieval gilded copper alloy dress hook of which only the main plate and stibs of the hook and loop remain. The main plate is lozenge shaped with a decorative, moulded border surrounding a now empty central cell with has a hold through the centre where a second or possibly multiple elements were attached. This central cell is un-gilded suggesting it was complete covered by the applied elements. Post Medieval copper alloy (probably brass) finger ring with 'posy' inscriptionon the inner face. The ring is D-shaped in cross section with a convex outer side and flat inner. There is a soldered join at one point, visible only as a faint line on the outside but clearer on the inside as a strip of a browner shade. The inscription is worn but reads: VIRTVE PASETH RICHES (Virtue passes riches) with some letters higher and lower than others and no gaps or stops between the words. The knop, figurative terminal, and part of the stem from the end of a copper alloy 'apostle' spoon depicting Mary holding the infant Jesus, of probable late medieval or early post-medieval date (1450-1550). The bowl and lower stem / handle is lost. The circular sectioned remaining stem narrows slightly from the knop to break. It is a later repair, but how much later is unclear. It has a very different patina to the terminal and is probably of a different material, possibly a high tin/lead alloy. The stem is crudely soldered to the knop with rough solder left at the top. A cast copper alloy rose buckle of late Medieval to early Post-Medieval date c.1450-1550. The buckle is sub-circular in shape (more accurately rose-shaped), in plan and sub-rectangular in cross section. The buckle has two D-shaped loops divided by a central axis bar that is D-shaped in cross section with a convex front a flat reverse. A fragment of Roman copper alloy booch probably a hinged Developed T-Shaped form probably dating to c. AD 75-150. The brooch survives only as the lower portion of the bow and the catchplate it terminating in an old break 41.4mm up from the foot. The bow of the bow brooch is, baring decorative features, sub-rectangular, almost flat, in cross section with rounded short side edges. A Post-Medieval copper alloy snake shaped strap-fitting. The strap fitting is S-shaped in plan and sub-oval in cross section being wider than it is thick. Both sides of the fitting have moulded and incised decoration that give the impression of two snakes, the tips of the S being their heads, whose bodies terminate in fish like tails at the the S's centre which is marked by a raised flower. A complete Post Medieval copper alloy double looped buckle frame, dating to c.AD 1350 to 1650. The frame consists of two oval loops divided by a central bar. The loops are sub-rectangular in plan with a rounded outer narrow edge. The frame itself is approximately D-shaped in cross section with a rounded outer surface and flat back. A Roman copper alloy colchester derivative developed T-shaped brooch, probably dating to c. AD 75-150. The brooch is incomplete, comprising of the upper bow and head, with the right wing incomplete. The pin also survives partially. At the head of the brooch the wings survive to a width of 26.6mm, these are cylindrical, c. 5.0mm in diameter, and retain a copper alloy axis bar in situ. A post medieval copper alloy mount dating to the period c.AD1600-1700. The mount is asymmetrical, with a pointed trefoliate terminal at one end. Below this is a knop projecting from one side. There is no evidence of a similar missing lug on the opposite side. The mount expands in width from 5.99mm below the knop to 16.72mm.
