A Roman copper-alloy devolved Large south-western T-shaped brooch of Hull T138 dating to the late first to second century AD, incomplete in so far as it is missing the pin and part of the headloop. The head has two short cylindrical wings, 33.9mm wide, to hold the axis bar for the hinged pin. Between the wings is a slot in which the pin would have sat. An incomplete copper-alloy crossbow brooch of Roman date, c.AD 200-300. The brooch has tubular crossbar wings with closed ends, although both ends are fragmented. The reverse of the wings have a central slot allowing a pin to be looped around the bar. A painted sherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel of Roman date. It has a hard and brittle, pale dark brown micaceous fabric core with abundent sand temper and occasional grey stoneinclusions.
