Two fragments of rim sherd of West Somerset type pottery, dating to the 16th - 17th century.
Possibly from a bowl, the fabric has sandstone inlusions, a thumbed applied strip under the rim, and an internal glaze, with an external green glaze just about visible.
A nearby production site for Medieval and Post Medieval West Somerset ware exisited at Nether Stowey, and was operational between 1250 - 1700.

A cast copper alloy dagger pommel of likely late or post-medieval date (1400-1700). The pommel is a rounded sub-trapizoidal in shape and hollow. The socket is oval (9.86mm) from which the sides flare out before rounding with a smaller hole (4.77mm) at the opposite end. On each side there is a central groove from which two other grooves eminate from the socket either side, giving a feather effect. Similar to Oakeshott type T.

A complete Post-Medieval copper-alloy cast spherical bell,dating to c. AD 1600 - 1800. The bell is complete and the iron pea remains but has attached to the side of the bell. The bell comprises of two hemispheres, divided by a horizontal circumferential rib. The upper hemisphere is undecorated and has two circular sound holes. An incomplete Post Medieval cast copper alloy buckle, c.AD 1500-1650. This is a double-looped, spectacle buckle with its front bevelled towards its edges. The only decoration is one central groove with an outward angled groove either side of it on the frame of each loop. The pin is missing but there is an iron concretion on the central bar. The buckle frame has a mid-green patina and its back is flat.

An incomplete post medieval cast copper alloy 'pot' leg (Butler, Green & Payne Type C) dating c. AD 1500-1700. The foot survives with a break 10mm above the raised transverse collar with four grooves eminating each side of the collar. The lower end of the object is rounded and has a grooved line running around the base. The upper end is irregular point at which the leg would affix to the vessel body. There are two irregular grooves running down the length of the foot, possibly the remains of decoration that has since worn. This foot would likely have been attached to a cauldron/cooking vessel.

An incomplete copper alloy post-medieval dress fastener, c. 16th century AD (1500 - 1650 AD) . The fastener is the 'female' tag from pair of hooked tags; it has a sub-oval plate and would have had a large rectangular loop at one end, this has broken away. A rectangular decorative double framed buckle with central iron bar (missing) dating to 1450 - 1600 AD. The pin and central bar are missing and the frame is curved in profile. Decoration exists on the side edges of the frame a regular cross hatch design. Decorative raised ridges flank the central bar. Similar examples can be seen in Egan & Pritchard (1991) pg 98, fig 62.

A fragmentary cast lead alloy figurine, probably of post-medieval date (AD 1750-1850). The figurine is represented by a leg, bent at the knee with foot flat to the ground. The angle of the leg suggests the figure was in a straddled posture, towards the top of the leg remains stylised clothing, although due to the worn break no further identification can be made. The leg is hollow.

A lead decorated bird feeder dating from 1400 - 1700 AD.
The feeder is shallow, with a circular base, shallow straight sides (5.99mm deep) and rim 6.14mm wide. The rim is decorated with a bead and scallop design, and there are two further rounded extensions to the rim on opposite sides of the feeder. These are decorated with a cross hatch design. The inner of the feeder has a stylised bird motif in relief, facing to the right with a four pellet motif to the right. This is enclosed in a bead rim border.

A cast copper alloy one piece Tombac button probably dating to the 18th century. The button is discoidal and flat, with a design on the front consisting of a circular design radiating outward. The four circular sections are alternatley decorated with a plain design or a pelleted stylised flower petal motif. The reverse of the button is plain, and a broken sub rectangular shank extends from the centre of the button. The reverse is corroded, and the front of the button is fairly worn, but overall condition is good.
