Penannular bracelet terminal fragment in the style of a snake-head. The style of the snake-head may be regarded as naturalistic. The terminal is lozenge-shaped, with its widest point at the position of the eyes. The eyes have been formed by a circular punched mark, possibly on a slightly raised platform and have a linear diagonal incised line above each eye. There is a decorative band (c. 30mm long) filled with V-shaped incised marks running along the head between the eyes. Roman copper alloy bow brooch of Colchester derivative Polden Hill (flat wing ends type, Midlands) type, dating to the late 1st to early 2nd century AD. The brooch is near complete, missing only some of the spring and pin. The brooch has an overall length of 51.25mm. The spring was secured with a Polden Hill type arrangement, with the chord secured by a lug at the head. The copper alloy axis bar remains in position. Late Roman copper alloy crossbow brooch and dating to the 4th century AD and probably of Keller's type 4A (c. AD 350-380). The brooch is complete (except for the end of the pin) and is 57.5mm tall. Late Roman silver spoon, probably of 3rd or 4th century AD date. The spoon has a distorted handle and is missing the majority of the bowl, giving the spoon a surviving length of 68mm. The handle was originally approximately 50mm long and is of circular section, becoming oval and wider as it approaches the bowl. The end of the handle was pointed. The spoon has a step to the bowl and is defined by incised lines. The incomplete bowl has a surviving length of 13mm and has a maximum surviving width of 11.2mm.
