A cast lead-alloy anthropomorphic mount of unknown date. The mount depicts a face wearing a rimmed cap. The face is decorated with incised linework in the style of a feathered ‘masquerade’ mask around the eyes. A single perforation in on one cheek (1.7mm diameter) may represent a teardrop. Roman lead alloy bow brooch of Colchester derivative Polden Hill (flat wing ends type, hinged pin, West Midlands) and of 1st or 2nd century AD date.The brooch is incomplete, missing the leg, catch-plate and pin (with a surviving length of 36.6mm, a surviving depth of 13.5mm and a weight of 24.3g). Cast lead-alloy whistle in the shape of a pipe bowl, probably late 19th century in date. The pipe bowl is similar to clay pipe examples and is decorated with moulded decoration consisting of joined semicircles and small raised knops. The base of the bowl ends in a pointed spike. Casting flashes are prominent on both sides. Iron corrosion is evident on the rim, suggesting an iron collar. Heavily corroded cast lead alloy finger ring, probably of Late Medieval date, c. 15th or 16th century. The internal diameter of the ring is large, suggesting the ring may have been worn over a glove. The hoop appears to be of D-shaped section and expands towards the bezel. The shoulders have two raised moulded ribs, leading to a circular moulded bezel containing a design, appearing to depict a crowned letter ‘W’.

Recorded at the Hidden Treasure Finds Day at National Museums & Galleries of Wales. Spoon-handle of lead alloy or pewter of Post Medieval date, probably dating to the 17th or early 18th century. The spoon has corroded, but would have had a rounded expanded terminal and is flat. The front of the spoon carries cast ornament depicting a crowned head above a vine scroll along the stem of the spoon. The rear has a cast cross, before the letter ‘W’.

Fragment of a cast lead alloy (pewter) pot leg from a vessel such as a skillet, ewer or cauldron. The lower part of the leg and a central ridge survive. Pot legs of this type were used during the medieval and post-medieval periods; however, a close parallel, albeit cast in copper alloy, is provided by pot legs recovered from early sixteenth century deposits in Norwich (Margeson 1993, 93, no.565, fig.58). Length (minimum) 33mm, width 22mm, weight 23.0 grams.

Freestanding, discoidal lead alloy weight. One side is decorated with a set of linear cast motifs incorporating a central cross and radiating lines in each quarter. The other side is plain. The edge of the casting is irregularly crimped. The casting is perforated, at a slight angle, from the plain side through the centre of the cross motif on the decorated side. The perforation is less than 1mm in diameter and of unknown purpose (it may be a casting feature to align a two-part mould). Diameter 28-30mm; thickness 10mm.
