An incomplete cast copper alloy figurine, dating to the Roman period (c. 43-410 AD). The figurine is of high quality, but incomplete and worn, missing much of the finer surface detail and multiple limb elements. Both the arms are broken above the elbows, the left leg ends in a break above the knee while the right leg ends in a break just above the ankle. The figurine is cast three-dimensionally and depicts a standing, young, male nude. The figurine is well modelled and executed in a classical style, with mostly realistic (if idealised) proportions.
