The base of the stirrup has been hammer-forged into a flat strip (87mm long, 22.0mm wide and 4mm thick). A complete wrought iron key of Post Medieval date. The bow is kidney shaped, made from a plano-convex sectioned iron strip welded onto the stem. The stem is cylindrical with a hollow end to the stem. The bit is rectangular in shape, with two clefts in the outside edge and one in the inside edge. This key fitted a substantial lock, such as for a gate or bar.

The horseshoe has a broad web of 30.3mm tapering towards the 8.9-7.8mm pointed heels, which both have double folded calkins. The 56.5mm wide internal aperture has a pointed oval shape. Fragment of a large iron vessel (cauldron?) consisting of a separately forged leg, plano-convex in section and with a decorative outer longitudinal ridge, and part of the vessel's base. Dimensions of surviving portion of the vessel's base 96mm x 72mm, vessel thickness 6mm, length of leg 45mm, weight 276.4 grams. Although cast iron vessels of this form were used until the early twentieth century the longitudinal ridge on the leg is similar to those decorating late medieval and post-medieval copper alloy vessel legs suggesting it may be of earlier date.
