A near-complete, distorted copper alloy Colchester Derivative Polden Hill (CD PH) type brooch of Roman date (c. 75-175AD). The brooch belongs to Mackreth’s CD PH Type 5.b3. The brooch is intact except for the pin and parts of the catchplate. The wings are rectangular in plan with plain concave front faces, with a hollow reverse and perforated sub-rectangular to sub-triangular wing caps. An incomplete distorted copper alloy needle of uncertain date, likely Medieval to Post Medieval. The needle is missing the upper half of its head, which is broken across the eye. The needle shank has an oval section tapering to flattened oval towards the head, which has a flat section 1.5mm thick. A complete copper alloy ring, likely a sword belt ring of probable late iron Age to Roman Date (1st century BC to 1st century AD). The ring is a circular hoop 32.2mm in diameter with a near-circular section measuring 5.4mm thick and 4.4mm wide. The internal diameter of the ring is 23-23.4mm. The ring is decorated on its circumference by continuous 2.4mm wide band of incised rectangular beading. A fragment of Late Bronze Age cast copper alloy blade, possibly of Ewart Park type, dating from c. 1000 to 800 BC. The blade fragment has a surviving length of 64.39mm, with a surviving width of 33.23mm across the top break, and 26.18mm across the lower break. It is broadly trapezoid in plan and is lenticular in cross-section. On one blade face there is evidence of a midrib approximately 12.0mm wide. Circumstances of discovery and reporting A hoard of 37 Roman silver coins was discovered by David Henry Moss and Tom Taylor on 20th-21st December 2018 and 19th January 2019 in Caerhun Community, Conwy. The coins were found while metal detecting on cultivated land that was under pasture at the time. Circumstances of discovery and reporting A ceramic pot containing 2733 Roman silver and copper alloy coins was discovered by David Henry Moss and Tom Taylor on 22nd December 2018 in Caerhun Community, Conwy.  The hoard was found while metal detecting on cultivated land that was under pasture at the time. The top of the pot was discovered at a depth of about 30cm below the surface of the field, at the top of a slight mound.
