An incomplete copper alloy Roman sestertius of Commodus (AD 175-192). Reverse depicts Roma, helmeted and draped, seating left on shield, holding a spear in the left hand and Victory in her extended right hand. The coin is very corroded and has lost much of its rim, only part of the obverse inscription can be seen and none of the reverse inscription. Possible matches are RIC III Commodus 369, 401c, and 445.
