Fragment of a cast vessel handle or mount. The mount has two drilled attachment holes either side of a gently curved end. The beginning of the possible handle is defined by a low moulding present only on the upper area of the fragment. The handle has a ‘D’ shaped cross section, which becomes narrower as it approaches the broken end.

The complete end is of oval section and is rounded with an expanded terminal (with a width of 10.0mm and a thickness of 3.6mm). Two fragments of Pewter or copper alloy- one possible vessel rim. Little diagnostic but maybe a medieval or post medieval vessel. A fragment 46.4mm long, 19.8mmwide and a maximum of 1.5mm thick, weighs 5.07g. The fragment has a channel beaten in lengthways with flanking ridges. The top of the leg has an L-shaped bracket (with a length of 11.2mm and a width of 5.3mm) to support a vessel above.
