Copper alloy finger ring, probably of Early Saxon date. The ring is complete and has similar decoration to Late Roman or Early Saxon bracelets. The terminals are currently overlapping with a space between them, if straightened the ring would have had a large diameter of c. 30mm. The decoration is symmetrical and the terminals are decorated with an incised line c.10mm from the end, with a central punched dot either side.
