A complete pierced Post Medieval copper alloy Taunton farthing trade token, dated 1667.
Obverse description: A capital letter T under a tun/cask, two roses flanking the base of the T. Obverse inscription: A • TAVNTON • FARTHING
Reverse description: Taunton castle. Reverse inscription: BY • THE • CONSTABLES • 1667 •
A hole measuring 2.5mm in diameter is punched through from the reverse (castle side) to the obverse. The token is a shiny brassy colour (caused by the coastal mud) and has a worn and pitted surface.

A lead or lead alloy medieval token dating to c. 1400 - c. 1500. The obverse depicts a cross with a pellet in each angle (Powell Type 14), probably influenced by the reverse design of a medieval penny. The reverse is undecorated. It has been slightly bent out of shape. There are traces of four casting sprues near the end of each cross arm. Overall, the token measures 15.4mm in diameter and 2.4mm thick. It weighs 1.62g.

A cast lead alloy Medieval or Post Medieval uniface token (c. AD 1250-1800). The token is circular in plan and measures 21.2mm in diameter, 2.5mm thick and weighs 4.85g. The obverse is decorated with a cast boat or ship motif represented by a half-moon shape with five small lines demonstrating the curve of the shape. Three pellets are centred below the ship. What appears to be a sail rises from the ship in a curved profile to a point. The reverse face is undecorated.
