A near complete lead alloy toy pocket watch, dating from c.1800 to 1900. The object consists of a lead alloy (pewter or spelter) case, which is circular in plan with an attached hanging loop. Mounted into the front of the object is a circular glass disk which is surrounded by a concave border. The reverse features a design of concentric ridged circles. The toy watch is dark grey in colour, the glass is sea worn and has a frosted appearance. This example broadly falls into Forsyth and Egan's Type 12 (Forsyth and Egan, 2005, pages 380 to 383). The object is light-mid grey in colour and measures 36.9mm in length, 24.5mm in width at the wide end and 10.33mm at the narrow end, is 1.2mm thick and weighs 5.65g.

Late Medieval lead alloy purse bar, c. 15th or 16th century The purse bar is complete with a length of 53.6mm and a weight of 7.1g. The terminals were pointed with a flange before a recess to secure the missing frame. The bars are of sub-rectangular section with attachment plates beneath. The bar widens (to 10.1mm) and thins (to 3.6mm) at the centre to accommodate a perforation (3.0mm diameter), through which the loop would have passed. No decoration is evident on the purse bar. The surface is poorly preserved and has a mid-grey colour.
