The brooch is near-complete, missing the end of the pin (with a length of 45.5mm, a depth of 18.5mm and a weight of 12.4g). The lug is has an overall length of 16.3mm and weighs 8.6g. The central perforation is oval (8.4mm x 6.4mm) and the sides of the loop are rounded (maximum width 16.0mm), while the outside-end is flat. The loop is of rectangular section (8.9mm thick). The integral attachment rivet is circular with a diameter of 8.6mm.

One of three fragments of a Late Bronze Age copper-alloy leaf-shaped sword. The morphology indicates that the sword is of Ewart Park Type, a widespread type which belongs to the Ewart Park Metalworking Assemblage (c. 1000-800 BC) (Needham 1996; Needham et al. 1997). This is the third fragment, representing the lower blade- other fragments are recorded as NMGW-A49E88 and NMGW-A4A891. Middle Bronze Age bronze dirk, probably of Group III weapons with a damaged butt The dirk is near-complete with some peripheral damage to the butt (with a length of 121.3mm and a weight of 31.0g). The apex and shoulders of the butt are corroded and rounded (with a width of 31.1mm and a thickness at the apex of 0.8mm). An incomplete cast copper alloy mount of modern date, likely 18th-19th century. The mount is fishtail in plan and the surface is decorated with concentric recessed cells likely to accommodate rhinestones. The reverse is flat with a possible makers mark in the centre and a folded tab at the flared end with a narrow neck, probably for attachment to something. The metal has a rough light green patina and traces of gold gilding preserve on both surfaces. Length 28.5mm x width 15.7mm x thickness 2.2mm (5.0mm at the tab), weight 2.69g.
