A outer edge from a cast buckle of an unusual type and depicting a face, probably of Medieval date (c. AD 1250 - 1400). The buckle has a small diameter and has broken at the hoop either side of the bezel. The bezel is thicker at the rear, and depicts a face, possibly anthropomorphic. The nose is raised and is slender; the eyes are recessed and circular. At the top of the head the hair is centre-parted. A complete Post Medieval cast copper alloy weight, dating from c. 1500 AD to 1800 AD. The coin weight is disk shaped with two flat faces. One face has been stamped X X at the centre. Above this is a stamped letter D. Below the initials is another unclear oval shaped stamp. On the other face X X is again stamped, due to corrosion it is not clear if the other stamps are also repeated. The weight is dark grey-brown in colour with small areas of green corrosion. Some of the original surface is lost to corrosion.
