An incomplete cast copper alloy vessel mount, possibly a bucket escutcheon of (probably later) Iron Age to early Roman date (c. 150 BC-AD 100). The object is incomplete, missing part of the left attachment lobe and an uncertain length of the hooked rear projection.

The lug is has an overall length of 16.3mm and weighs 8.6g. One of three fragments of a Late Bronze Age copper-alloy leaf-shaped sword. The morphology indicates that the sword is of Ewart Park Type, a widespread type which belongs to the Ewart Park Metalworking Assemblage (c. 1000-800 BC) (Needham 1996; Needham et al. 1997). This is the third fragment, representing the lower blade- other fragments are recorded as NMGW-A49E88 and NMGW-A4A891.

The dirk is near-complete with some peripheral damage to the butt (with a length of 121.3mm and a weight of 31.0g). The apex and shoulders of the butt are corroded and rounded (with a width of 31.1mm and a thickness at the apex of 0.8mm). The mount is fishtail in plan and the surface is decorated with concentric recessed cells likely to accommodate rhinestones. The reverse is flat with a possible makers mark in the centre and a folded tab at the flared end with a narrow neck, probably for attachment to something. The metal has a rough light green patina and traces of gold gilding preserve on both surfaces.

A complete forged copper alloy spiral finger ring of probable Iron Age to Roman date (c. 200BC-AD 410). The ring is of Guiraud Type 7 (Guiraud 1989, 195-6).
The ring is made from a forged bar of copper alloy 4.3- 4.8mm diameter wrapped around to form a ring, completing two full turns. The section of the bar is circular. The internal diameter of the ring is variable with a maximum of 22.1mm. The inner surface has a central seam stretching its length and visible in the terminal sections as a result of the forging process.

A near-complete, distorted copper alloy Colchester Derivative Polden Hill (CD PH) type brooch of Roman date (c. 75-175AD). The brooch belongs to Mackreth’s CD PH Type 5.b3. The brooch is intact except for the pin and parts of the catchplate.

An incomplete cast copper alloy pinhead of probable Roman date (c.AD 43-410). The pin is comprised of the head and a fragment of the shaft (overall height 13.0mm). The head is globular, flat on the bottom, with four intersecting incised grooves forming a flower or star decoration (external diameter 6.7mm, height 3.2mm). The shank is circular in section (diameter 3.0mm, 9.2mm long) and terminates in a transverse break.
The object has a dark green patina and weighs 1.24g.

Carefully constructed cast copper alloy decorative vessel escutcheon or mount in the form of a boar. The boar has its front legs extending forward beneath its mouth forming a V-shape, the mouth is open and contains a small circular hole.
