A near complete cast copper alloy and enamel Medieval harness pendant dating from 1200 to 1400 AD. The harness pendant is shield-shaped with an integrally cast loop; the front is decorated in relief blue enamel depicting a unicorn rampant.  The suspension loop is 8.5mm long with a loop hole (2.6mm in diameter) which is set 90 degrees from the shield. Copper alloy heraldic pendant of Medieval date, probably of 13th or 14th century. The pendant is shield shaped and is 35.7mm high, with an overall length (including the swivel loop) of 47.2mm. The pendant has traces of red enamel surviving between ten raised roundels. Traces of gilding survive over the roundels and the frame (Gules bezanty). The pendant is convex (with a concave reverse) and roughly discoidal with a 13.3mm long integral perforated attachment plate projecting from the top of the pendant.
