Edward III silver penny. The coin is much worn, heavily clipped and mis-struck; however, from the saltire stops on the obverse, it is probably dated from the Treaty period (1361-69). York mint. Weight 0.57 grams.

Silver sterling penny of Edward IV (1461-70, 1471-83) from the York Episcopal mint of Archbishop George Neville (1465-1476). The identification of the mint was made by the recognition of a G and a key by the King's bust. Unfortunately the coin is too worn to allow it to be more closely identified and dated. Weight 0.7grams.
