Probable Bronze Age gold strip fragment. This is a semi-worked thickened strip fragment of gold of broadly rectangular shape. The strip has been worked and there are hammer facets visible on the flat surfaces and side margins. One edge has been hammered up and has a projecting margin on one face edge. The strip was broken at one end with a double-grip tool without sharp edges. As a result, there is widening, lateral distortion with thinning at one end, near the break. A hammered gold sheet of uncertain date. The sheet has a maximum length of 51.4mm, width of 39.3mm, 0.7mm thick and weighs 14.76g. The sheet is lacking any diagnostic features so the use and date cannot be determined. Small percussion marks on the surface indicate the sheet was intentionally flattened before being deposited, discarded, or lost. Due to the uncertainty of the date, the object is not considered Treasure under the Treasure Act 1996.

A closed thimble made from sheet gold, complete but misshapen. The outer body surface bears horizontal, concentric bands of uniformly executed annulets with dished centres. Post Medieval fob seal matrix, probably of mid to late 18th century date. The fob seal is sub-rectangular (12.0 x 9.6mm) and is 5.7mm thick, weighing 1.6g. The rear of the frame is domed with a central piercing to take the fob chain. The intaglio is secured in a gold frame with claw grips. The intaglio is made from black glass, or possibly a stone. At the centre is the carving of a bust of a male figure.

A small penannular ring of sheet gold construction, with simple terminals separated by a narrow gap. The sheet strip has been carefully folded over, to give an oval shaped cross-section, the internal edges around the interior diameter being separated by a gap of 1-1.5mm. A plain penannular gold 'lock-ring' with biconical section and a now hollow interior, which has been crumpled and distorted in the ground. The small ring, originally around 30mm in diameter, comprises two circular sheet face-plates with a thin gold wire fused to the plate join, to form an outer rim-binding. This is a complete and small penannular ring (or 'hair-ring') decorated with gold foil and a silvery gold inlayed strip. It appears that the gold foil was wrapped around a copper core, and around this, in continuous spiral fashion a silvery gold strip was inlayed, to provide a striped colour effect. The stripes are wide, with four silvery gold inlayed stripes and five gold foil stripes evident around the ring. A slightly tapering gold tube with coiled wire decoration attached to it near the wider end and about two-thirds of the way down. The wider end is closed by a flat plate, secured from coming out by the ends of the tube being bent over. The plate now sits at an angle, with one side pushed slightly down the tube, but it would appear that it originally sat square to the end of the tube. This is a small ingot of gold, approximately circular and large 'button-sized' in plan view, but with slight circumference irregularities. The ingot has a convex under-surface, with marked surface irregularities. This indicates the gold was poured into a small dished mould 7.0-7.5mm deep, possibly clay, sand or stone, and solidifying to take on the reverse contours of the rough and cracked surface. Description of object: Gold finger-ring with a D-shaped cross-section. Externally undecorated, the flat inner face is engraved in Gothic textura (black-letter) script. The engraving appears inexpert (or corrected) in the centre, and so the reading is not clear. All interpretations agree on the first letter as i and the last two as lt. Near complete gold mourning finger ring of Post-Medieval date. The ring is distorted but is otherwise in good condition. The hoop comprises of four S-shaped barbed scrolls carrying an inscription on the exterior. The first S-scroll is shorter than the others and simply carries the letter W. The next S-scroll has: HARRISON, followed by: OB2SEPT, and finally: 1761AE69. Indicating the finger ring was to commemorate W. Harrison, who died on the 2nd September 1761, aged 69. Gold finger ring of Post-Medieval date. The hoop has a thin D-shaped cross-section, and is plain on the exterior. The interior carries an inscription, beginning on the hoop and continuing across the bezel. The inscription is in Lombadic lettering and reads: I PRESENT THE ABSENT The hoop widens slightly as it approaches the shoulders, which carry four raised knops forming a cross. The shoulders end in a raised line, defining a cuff before the bezel depicting two joined hands crowned by two ducks each side of a possible crown. Traces of white enamel survive on the ducks and the hands.
