A copper alloy contemporary copy of a Roman radiate (a barbarous radiate) of Claudius II (AD 268-270) dating to the period AD 275-285 (Reece Period 14). Probably VICTORIA AVG reverse type depicting Victory advancing left, holding wreath and palm. Copying mint of Rome prototype.
