Copper alloy circular, domed mount with two integral rivets. The mount is decorated with three concentric rings of different thickness and a central boss. Slightly distorted. Diameter 32mm, height of domed mount c.7mm, weight 9.5 grams. Mounts like this example were attached to leather straps or textiles and would have been mainly decorative in function. Dating them is difficult, some mounts of this type were in use as early as the thirteenth century; however, this example is likely to be significantly later and possibly dates to the sixteenth or seventeenth century.

The oval bezel of a Roman copper alloy finger ring with remains of a blue glass setting (intaglio), 13 by 9 mm. No meaningful trace of a design can be seen and the ring may well have been burnt at some point. Glass settings with an impressed design were a cheaper alternative to the individually carved stone intaglios. Rings of this type are difficult to date but they appear to have been most common in the third century, with little, or no, evidence for their use before the latter part of the second century (Henig 1974, 35).

The finger ring comprises of a sub-oval signet (14.6mm long x 11.8mm wide x 1.5mm thick) and portions of the band (9mm long and 3.1mm wide at the break; and 5.9mm long and 4mm wide at the break). The signet appears to be engraved with monogram style letters on the face but cannot be determined due to old damage. Copper alloy finger-ring. The finger-ring is decorated with three projecting knobs, which are surrounded by a series of notches on the hoop. The projecting knobs are cast in one with the hoop and the notched grooves are probably also cast features. External diameter 20mm, internal diameter 16mm, weight 3 grams. Its general form is unlike the known rings of the prehistoric, Roman and early medieval period and the basis of this negative evidence it is probably medieval or early post-medieval in date.
