Copper alloy mount of uncertain date The mount is fragmentary (with a surviving length of 31.5mm, a surviving width of 21.4mm and a weight of 4.6g) and is of copper alloy sheet (1.5mm thick). The outside edge undulates, seemingly to accommodate the design. There is a single surviving attachment hole near a protruding knop on the outside edge out (2.9mm diameter). The mount has broken through an open at the centre, which appears to have been circular at one end flanked by a linear opening. Gold Angel of Henry VII, London mint, type II (no mint-mark), c. 1488-9; North (1991), no.1695. Gold coin of 23 ct 3½ grains (0.995 fine) weighing 80 grains and current for 6s 8d, was introduced by Edward IV in 1465. Early angels depicted St Michael as a feathered being, as on this specimen. The obverse die of this coin was damaged, apparently somewhat worn and rusty when the coin was struck.

Medieval copper alloy annular brooch frame of 13th to 14th century date The brooch is incomplete, missing the pin but the annular frame is complete (with an external diameter of 24.6mm, an internal diameter of 17.0mm and a weight of 5.0g). The frame is sub-circular to oval sectioned (3.5mm wide and 3.3mm - 3.8mm thick) and is enhanced with ribbed decoration. The decoration appears to be confined to two areas either side of a restriction for the missing pin and is present on both faces (for a length of c. 15mm). Roman copper alloy plate brooch of Swastika form, probably of 2nd to 3rd AD century date The brooch is incomplete, with some peripheral damage and the loss of the pin (with a weight of 10.2g). The missing pin was attached around a single, pierced lug (6.8mm long, 1.7mm thick 6.3mm high) at the top corner of one of the four arms (giving the brooch an overall depth of 8.3mm).
