A fragmentary copper alloy object, potentially a furniture fitting or brooch, of uncertain date. The object is curved in profile, presumably to allow use as a handle and tapers unevenly from the moulded thicker end to a thinner (5.5mm by 2.6mm) d-sectioned strip terminating in a break. The front face of the thicker end of the object appears to bear moulded decoration, although the extremely abraded nature of the object makes it difficult to define what the moulding depicts.
