The upper and lower faces are both dished but without surviving decoration evident. The weight currently weighs 103.53g, equivalent to 3.652 ounces or 0.228 ponds, suggesting that the weight was originally a quarter-pound avoirdupois weight of medieval or post medieval date.

A fragment of cast copper alloy and enamel object of unknown purpose, but certainly of Roman date (c. 43-410 AD). The object represents only a fragment of an unknown object, ending in breaks at both ends (the sides appear to be damaged original edges). The object is very broadly rectangular in shape, though the longer edges are concave. These edges are 12.3mm wide in the middle, and 20.17mm at the top and 21.2mm wide at the bottom.
