Post medieval lead vessel probably of 17th or 18th century The vessel is near-complete with some peripheral damage and is of D-shaped form (with a weight of 210.5g). The mouth (60.7mm wide and 35.9mm long) has a stepped moulding (with a depth of 7.3mm - 13.9mm and 5mm thick) on the curved part only. One of the corners is higher (giving a maximum overall height of 34.5mm) and has a spout-like form. The interior of the vessel is uneven (28mm deep). A complete copper alloy barrel tap key of Post Medieval date, likely 19th century. The key has an oval handle with two circular perforations, an oval sectioned stem that tapers towards the handle, and a three lobed bit with a rectangular guide bar and a triangular hole. Such keys would be used to restrict the use of a barrel to only those with a suitable key. PUBLIC-C5C166 is a close comparison already recorded on this database.

A copper alloy strap slide of post medieval date (c. 1650-1800). The object is roughly circular in plan, with a slightly convex front face, c.2mm thick. Two flattened-oval sectioned lugs project from opposite ends of the reverse face, each is covered by iron corrosion product, presumably from iron rivets or inserts to the lugs. Incised curved lines radiating from a central circle decorate the front face of the object. An incomplete cast copper alloy spur of Post Medieval date (AD 1600-1850). The spur consists of two arms angled outwards, neck, and a central rowel slot. The rowel has been lost to old damage. The arms are D-shaped in section with a beveled outer surface and taper before terminating in old breaks. One arm is broken just before where a looped terminal would have been, giving the arm a total surviving length of 41.4mm, 5.7mm wide and 4.6mm thick.
