An incomplete cast copper alloy double loop buckle of later Medieval or Post Medieval date (c.1400-1600 AD). The surface shows some corrosion and is broken at the integral bar; therefore, it is missing one of its loops. Presumably the buckle was originally circular or near-circular. The pin is still extant, consisting of a pointed strip bent around the bar. It measures 18.08mm in length and 12.32mm in width; and is 1.62 grams in weight.
