Crudely cast copper alloy ring. The inside of the ring contains several wear facets. External diameter c.25mm, internal diameter c.18mm, weight 5.2 grams. Crudely cast copper alloy rings like this example served numerous functions and can date from at least the medieval period to the early twentieth century.
