A distal fragment of a knapped and pressure flaked knife likely dating to the Early Bronze age. The flake is made from a distal portion of a cortical flake of semi translucent unpatinated grey flint. The dorsal surface bears patches of cortex and invasive pressure flaking removal scars. The ventral surface blade edges have also been retouched to form the point and even, carefully shaped sides. Bi-facially worked flint with the beginnings of pressure flaking scars along two edges on one face. The piece seems to have been subjected to thinning on the ventral face and retouch on the dorsal face. There is a possibility the piece is an unfinished arrowhead of barbed and tanged type (c.2500-1000BC) or an arrowhead of triangular form. There is a further possibility the piece is a crudely finished broken arrowhead.
