Post medieval lead alloy smoking pipe or possibly a candle snuffer, probably of 18th century date The pipe has an overall length of 44.3mm and has a weight of 25.5g. The mouth of the piece is distorted and is now oval with an external length of 23.7mm and a width of 15.7mm (13.9 x 9.4mm internal). The mouth has moulded decoration comprising short vertical ribs. The outside of the bowl has four decorative horns and there is a single larger horn between the bowl and stem. The inner face is engraved with legend LEVE +TO +DYE ♣ in Roman capitals, with crosslets between words, and a trefoil at the end. Silver gilt decorative roundel which once adorned the front of a dress-hook loop, to the back of which are soldered three sections of wire (which when complete formed the trefoil loop for the hook). The slightly domed silver gilt boss has a border of 'cable-twist' filigree wire, wound in a spiral to create two strands. Within this, there are five cable-twist 'filigree' wire circlets, and a small granulated pellet in the interspace. Metal content: silver, 96%; copper, 4%.

Decorative finger ring. The hoop is of flattened D cross-section, and has an internal diameter of 19mm. The outer surface is decorated with plain narrow diagonal bands separated by lines of beading. Fragment of a lead, or lead alloy (pewter), spoon handle. The terminal is decorated with a set of double concentric ring and dot motifs. Cast copper alloy hooked mount with a rectangular-shaped plate which contains a scalloped outer edge and four fixing holes. Two of the fixing holes are small (diameter c.2.5mm) and set centrally on the plate, the remainder are larger (diameter 5mm) and are set in the inner corners of the plate. An outer corner of the plate is missing. Length 42mm, width 17mm, thickness of plate 1mm.

Glass intaglio in copper alloy setting, probably part of a fob-seal. Oval, clear glass intaglio of a male bust, with beard, classical helmet and part of a shield, facing left. The surface is abraded but otherwise complete. The copper alloy (probably bronze) setting is also oval and incomplete, the conical handle and suspension loop are missing. No trace of gilding remains. The end of a tapering horizontal arm, plano-convex in section, which terminated in two rings set like a figure of eight projecting equally above and below the arm of the spur. One complete and one fragmentary looped stud attachment for spur leathers survive in the terminal rings. Seventeenth century. Copper alloy circular, domed mount with two integral rivets. The mount is decorated with three concentric rings of different thickness and a central boss. Slightly distorted. Diameter 32mm, height of domed mount c.7mm, weight 9.5 grams. Mounts like this example were attached to leather straps or textiles and would have been mainly decorative in function. Dating them is difficult, some mounts of this type were in use as early as the thirteenth century; however, this example is likely to be significantly later and possibly dates to the sixteenth or seventeenth century.

Fragment of flat, figurative copper alloy mount with one integral rivet. The surviving part of the mount forms a symmetrical motif, probably either a shell or fleur de lis. The rivet is broken, it is uncertain whether originally the mount would have contained more than one rivet. The surface of the mount shows no evidence of tinning.
