Probable handle fragment of copper alloy of uncertain date and broken at both ends. The piece has three ribs; one central rib and one each side, one of the side ribs is more pronounced than the other two ribs. The fragment begins to expand past the ribbed area and this section seems to be defined by an incised line at each end, and contains punched chevrons and diamonds, possibly originally filled with black enamel. This end possibly has an area with a concave profile, possibly suggesting the recess to take a pin for a hinge.

A cast copper alloy object, probably a ring handle of indeterminate age. The ring is solid cast, oval in plan (68.9mm x 62.0mm) and teardrop-shaped in section with a rounder interna edge and a more pronounced external edge (ring width c.7.7mm wide x 4.2mm thick). The ring lacks any diagnostic features to estimate precise function or relative date. The metal has a brownish-green smooth patina with large areas of rough mid- to light-green corrosion and weighs 28.39g.
