The wings are 25.9mm wide and are decorated with vertical bands containing a knurled column. The bow has a D-shaped section with converging sides. There is no decoration now evident on the surface. The wings are 23.2mm wide and are undecorated. The bow has a D-shaped section with converging sides. There is the suggestion of a V shaped moulding at the head. The brooch fragment is eroded and has lost a nick out of the surface.
