Roman copper alloy bow brooch of Hod Hill type and of 1st century AD date The cast brooch is incomplete, missing the pin (with a length of 34.5mm, a depth of 9.1mm and a weight of 1.9g). The missing pin was hinged within the rolled head (with a 10.5mm and a diameter of 2mm) with some remnants of the iron axis bar remaining in place.
