A complete forged copper alloy spiral finger ring of probable Iron Age to Roman date (c. 200BC-AD 410). The ring is of Guiraud Type 7 (Guiraud 1989, 195-6).
The ring is made from a forged bar of copper alloy 4.3- 4.8mm diameter wrapped around to form a ring, completing two full turns. The section of the bar is circular. The internal diameter of the ring is variable with a maximum of 22.1mm. The inner surface has a central seam stretching its length and visible in the terminal sections as a result of the forging process.

The object consists of the head and the bow of the brooch, with the axis bar and spring still intact. The pin and most of the catch plate are missing. It is irregular in plan, broadly comma shaped in profile, and irregular in cross section.

The head is globular, flat on the bottom, with four intersecting incised grooves forming a flower or star decoration (external diameter 6.7mm, height 3.2mm). The shank is circular in section (diameter 3.0mm, 9.2mm long) and terminates in a transverse break.

A complete Post Medieval copper alloy posy ring dating from c. 1600 to 1700 AD.
The hoop is broadly circular in plan (it is slightly bent out of shape) and is shallow D-shaped in cross-section. There is a central vertical seam which stands proud of the rings surface. The inner face of the hoop is inscribed with the text: I LIVE IN LOVE, in Roman uppercase lettering. The terminal of the letter I splits into two curving serifs. There is no maker’s mark.
The ring has corrosion to its surface rendering it a dark reddish brown colour. There are no visible remains of silvering or gilding.

The axe is incomplete due to surface loss. It has a surviving length of 76.79mm. The blade end is crescentric in shape, it has a surviving blade width of 44.79mm. A complete cast copper alloy Medieval ewer spout dating from c. AD 1400-1500.
The object is curved, tubular, and zoomorphic in form. The opening at the attachment end is an oval shaped aperture measuring 19.78 mm high by 10.35mm wide. The attachment end, curves upwards to form the spout. The end of the spout is in the form of a stylised dog's head with an open mouth, squared brow, lenticular eyes and rounded droopy ears. A complete Post Medieval cast copper alloy weight, dating from c. 1500 AD to 1800 AD.
The coin weight is disk shaped with two flat faces. One face has been stamped X X at the centre. Above this is a stamped letter D. Below the initials is another unclear oval shaped stamp. On the other face X X is again stamped, due to corrosion it is not clear if the other stamps are also repeated. The weight is dark grey-brown in colour with small areas of green corrosion. Some of the original surface is lost to corrosion.

The chisel is complete (with an overall length of 103.5mm and a weight of 43.5g). The socket mouth is oval (with external dimensions of 19.6mm x 15.9mm and internally 16.4mm x 12.3mm) and there is no collar or mouldings and there are no attachment holes on the sides of the socket.
