An incomplete cast copper alloy vessel mount, possibly a bucket escutcheon of (probably later) Iron Age to early Roman date (c. 150 BC-AD 100). The object is incomplete, missing part of the left attachment lobe and an uncertain length of the hooked rear projection.

The lug is has an overall length of 16.3mm and weighs 8.6g. The central perforation is oval (8.4mm x 6.4mm) and the sides of the loop are rounded (maximum width 16.0mm), while the outside-end is flat. The loop is of rectangular section (8.9mm thick). The integral attachment rivet is circular with a diameter of 8.6mm.

One of three fragments of a Late Bronze Age copper-alloy leaf-shaped sword. The morphology indicates that the sword is of Ewart Park Type, a widespread type which belongs to the Ewart Park Metalworking Assemblage (c. 1000-800 BC) (Needham 1996; Needham et al. 1997). This is the third fragment, representing the lower blade- other fragments are recorded as NMGW-A49E88 and NMGW-A4A891.

An incomplete cast copper alloy mount of modern date, likely 18th-19th century. The mount is fishtail in plan and the surface is decorated with concentric recessed cells likely to accommodate rhinestones. The reverse is flat with a possible makers mark in the centre and a folded tab at the flared end with a narrow neck, probably for attachment to something. The metal has a rough light green patina and traces of gold gilding preserve on both surfaces.

A complete forged copper alloy spiral finger ring of probable Iron Age to Roman date (c. 200BC-AD 410). The ring is of Guiraud Type 7 (Guiraud 1989, 195-6).
The ring is made from a forged bar of copper alloy 4.3- 4.8mm diameter wrapped around to form a ring, completing two full turns. The section of the bar is circular. The internal diameter of the ring is variable with a maximum of 22.1mm. The inner surface has a central seam stretching its length and visible in the terminal sections as a result of the forging process.

The reported object is a decorative gold posy ring. The ring consists of a thin gold band, D-shaped in section, with a tightly set repeating pattern of tooled S-shaped indentations on the external surface, possibly for enamel, although none appears to have survived. The internal surface in engraved with an inscription which reads ‘Though absent yet constant’ in italic letters in sentence case. The ring profile is slightly misshapen.

Small silver seal matrix with an oval face. It is engraved with a motif of crested and plumed bird, walking right and in side profile. it’s the bird’s beak is open, holding a leafed branch which extends over its head and back. The motif is set within a single cabled oval border. The face is slightly misshapen with some damage to the right side. A Late Bronze Age hoard of seven bronze artefacts (eleven fragments), was discovered by Mr Mark Herman on 8th September 2019 while metal-detecting on a field under arable in Pendoylan Community, Vale of Glamorgan. Ten of the fragments (Nos. 2-11) were found together in a single localized cluster, located a maximum distance of 1.2m (4 feet) from each other. Circumstances of discovery and reporting
A hoard of 37 Roman silver coins was discovered by David Henry Moss and Tom Taylor on 20th-21st December 2018 and 19th January 2019 in Caerhun Community, Conwy.
The coins were found while metal detecting on cultivated land that was under pasture at the time. The findspot (a National Grid Reference) of the coins and addresses of interested parties are given on the Treasure Receipt Form. The coins were discovered scattered in shallow rocky ploughsoil at depths of approximately 3-4 inches.

A ceramic pot containing 2733 Roman silver and copper alloy coins was discovered by David Henry Moss and Tom Taylor on 22nd December 2018 in Caerhun Community, Conwy.
The hoard was found while metal detecting on cultivated land that was under pasture at the time. The top of the pot was discovered at a depth of about 30cm below the surface of the field, at the top of a slight mound.
