A complete cast lead flat circular seal matrix of Medieval date (Probably 13th century AD).
The seal is flat and circular although distorted. The reverse of the seal bears a lug at the top and is decorated with a central pellet and three concentric moulded circles. The 9.2mm long, 8.3mm tall lug is unperforated and bent sideways against the reverse of the matrix. The edge of the reverse is raised all the way around.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Colchester Derivative Polden Hill (CD PH) brooch of Roman date (c. 240-300 AD). The brooch is of Mackreth's (2011) Type CD PH 4.h. The brooch is incomplete, missing one wing, the spring, pin, and most of the catchplate.
The brooch has a bulbous, humped “dolphin” style head 15.2mm wide excluding the wings, 18.5mm high and 23.5mm deep. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester Derivative Hinged (CD H) type (c.AD 43-120). The brooch is missing the pin, catchplate and foot. The tubular wings (c.2mm diameter) span a width of 27.0mm. Much of the original surface has been lost, but a single raised transverse moulding survives on one wing. Any decoration at the wing terminals has been lost. A complete cast copper alloy cosmetic mortar of Late Iron Age to Roman date (c.100 BC-AD 200). The crescentic mortar is of end-looped type with a total length of 76.2mm and a weight of 22.87g. The end-loop has straight sides and a rounded external edge (3.2-4.0mm thick) and is of turned-over form with an everted end, possibly representing a stylised bird’s head (Jackson 2010: 23). A near-complete cast tin alloy bead of unknown date. The bead is roughly circular in plan and sub-oval in section with external diameter of 13.6 and 8.5mm thick. The central perforation is warped but the side with less warpage has an internal diameter of 5.8mm x 3.9mm. The bead lacks diagnostic characteristics so a definite date cannot be obtained, however two tin beads are recorded from Medieval (15th century) contexts and examples are described by Egan and Pritchard (2002: 315-316 no. 1584, 1585). The metal is a medium grey and shiny in places with a weight of 4.17g.
