A complete Post Medieval copper alloy posy ring dating from c. 1600 to 1700 AD. The hoop is broadly circular in plan (it is slightly bent out of shape) and is shallow D-shaped in cross-section. There is a central vertical seam which stands proud of the rings surface. The inner face of the hoop is inscribed with the text: I LIVE IN LOVE, in Roman uppercase lettering. The terminal of the letter I splits into two curving serifs. There is no maker’s mark. The ring has corrosion to its surface rendering it a dark reddish brown colour. There are no visible remains of silvering or gilding.

An incomplete Early Bronze Age cast copper alloy flat axe of undeterminable type, dating from c. 2200 to 1800 BC. The axe is incomplete due to surface loss. It has a surviving length of 76.79mm. The blade end is crescentric in shape, it has a surviving blade width of 44.79mm.  From the blade, the body of the axe narrows in shape, and terminates in a rounded butt. A possible modified silver coin, of likely Post Medieval date, c. 1500 to 1800. The diameter of the object is similar to that of a three pence coin and suggests that it has possibly been modified for reuse as a token. The object has a smooth surface with punched motifs, including of a bunch of grapes. Obverse: Punched grape motif, letter Y, plus possible A or upside-down Y. Reverse: Punched grape motif, a partial letter A of a different style of lettering to the obverse.

A probable Neolithic stone axehead roughout of Neolithic date, c.4000-2500 BC. The object is in the early stages of shaping, with scars from large removals on both faces and does not appear to be a flake but rather a rock in the process of being shaped. An incomplete cast copper alloy Medieval strap end, dating from c. AD 1200 to 1550. The main body of the strap end is sub rectangular, measuring 21.60mm long, 15.55mm wide, and 4.88mm thick. It comprises of a front and back plate with a ragged break at the attachment end. One iron rivet remains, measuring 2.96mm in diameter. Both the front and the back plate are undecorated. An incomplete cast copper alloy brooch of Headstud type, dating to the Roman period (c. 75-200 AD). The brooch is heavily worn and difficult to identify a subtype. The brooch is missing its foot, catchplate, mechanism, pin, much of the wings and the composite headstud itself, while the surface of the bow is heavily damaged.
